Partner Privacy Notice

This notice explains how Bike Registry Oy processes personal data in connection with the Bike Registry partner directory.

1. Controller

2. What We Collect

• Submitter contact details: the name and email address of the person submitting or maintaining the listing
• Business information: the Partner's shop details (name, address, category, business contact information, description, logo, discounts) that become part of the public listing

3. Why We Process It

• Performance of the partner agreement: managing the listing and responding to inquiries
• Legitimate interest: prospecting, partner outreach, and fraud prevention

4. Public vs. Internal

Only the shop's business contact information is shown on the public partner directory. The submitter's personal name and email are kept internal unless they are explicitly published as the shop's listed contact.

5. Retention

Personal data is kept while the listing is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to handle inquiries and legal obligations. Data is deleted on request unless retention is required by law.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data. You may also lodge a complaint with the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).
